CSIR Eligibility criteria
CSIR age Eligibility:-
28 years as on 01/03/2024
Age relaxation for SC/ST is 5 years and for OBC is 3 years
CSIR Educational Eligibility:
eligibility different for different posts given below
10th (SSC) Or equivalent with science ,with minimum 55% marks and ITI in relevant
Or
10th (SSC) Or equivalent with science ,with minimum 55% marks and 2 years full time experience as an apprentice trainee from recognised institution in relevant field
Or
10th (SSC) Or equivalent with science ,with minimum 55% marks and 3 years of work experience in relevant trade in a Ministry/ Department/ Organization/ Public sector undertaking/ Autonomous Body under Government of India/ State/ UT.

CSIR technician Pay level is 2 and salary is 19900 - 63200 according to notification , total emoluments according to notification is 27248 Rs ( in hand salary).

Mode of examination :- OMR Based or Computer Based Objective Type Multiple Choice
Examination
Mode of exam language:- Hindi / English
Standard of exam : SSC + ITI / 12th standard (Total number of questions is 150 and time is 2 hours and 30 minutes)
CSIR Syllabus :-
Paper 1 :-
Paper 1 will be mental ability test have 50 questions and 100 marks each correct question have 2 marks and there will be no negative marking. ( Mental ability includes general intelligence, quantitative aptitude, reasoning, problem solving, situational judgement etc. )
Paper 2:-
Paper 2 will be have English and general awareness each have 25 -25 questions and total question is 50 and total mark is 75 -75 for each subject total 150 marks each correct question have 3 marks and each negative question have 1 mark minus
Paper 3:-
Paper 3 have concerned subject having total 50 question and 150 marks , each correct question have 3 marks and each negative question have minus 1 mark

Technician (Electrician) :-
Secondary School Certificate (SSC)/ 10th
Standard/ SSC or equivalent with Science
subjects, with minimum 55% marks and ITI certificate or National/ State tradecertificate in Electrician.
Or
SSC/ 10th Standard or equivalent with Science subjects, with minimum 55% marks and 2 years full time experience as an apprentice trainee from a recognized Institution in Electriciantrade.
Or
SSC/ 10th Standard or equivalent with Science subjects, with minimum 55% marks and 3 years of work experience in Electrician trade in a Ministry/ Department/ Organization/ Public sector undertaking/ Autonomous Body under Government of India/ State/ UT.
Technician (Electronics Mechanic) :-
Secondary School Certificate (SSC)/ 10th
Standard/ SSC or equivalent with Science
subjects, with minimum 55% marks and ITI certificate or National/ State trade certificate in Electronics Mechanic.
Or
SSC/ 10th Standard or equivalent with Science subjects, with minimum 55% marks and 2 years full time experience as an apprentice trainee from a recognized Institution in Electronics
Mechanic trade.
Or
SSC/ 10th Standard or equivalent with Science subjects, with minimum 55% marks and 3 years of work experience in Electronics Mechanic trade in a Ministry/ Department/Organization/Public sector undertaking/ Autonomous Bodyunder Government of India/ State/ UT.
Technician (COPA):-
Secondary School Certificate (SSC)/ 10th Standard/ SSC or equivalent with Science subjects, with minimum 55% marks and ITI certificate or National/ State trade certificate in COPA.
Or
SSC/ 10th Standard or equivalent with Science subjects, with minimum 55% marks and 2 years full time experience as an apprentice trainee from a recognized Institution in COPA trade.
Or
SSC/ 10th Standard or equivalent with Science subjects, with minimum 55% marks and 3 years of work experience in COPA trade in Ministry/ Department/ Organization/ Public sector undertaking/ Autonomous Body under Government of India/ State/ UT.
Technician {Mechanic (Refrigeration & Air Conditioning)} :-
Secondary School Certificate (SSC)/ 10th
Standard/ SSC or equivalent with Science
subjects, with minimum 55% marks and ITI certificate or National/ State trade certificate in Refrigeration & Air conditioning.
Or
SSC/ 10th Standard or equivalent with Science subjects, with minimum 55% marks and 2 years full time experience as an apprentice trainee from a recognized Institution in Refrigeration & Air conditioning trade.
Or
SSC/ 10th Standard or equivalent with Science subjects, with minimum 55% marks and 3 years of work experience in Refrigeration & Air conditioning trade in a Ministry/ Department/ Organization/ Public sector undertaking/ Autonomous Body under Government of India/ State/ UT.
Technician (Welder):-
Secondary School Certificate (SSC)/ 10th

subjects, with minimum 55% marks and ITI certificate or National/ State trade certificate in Welder.
Or
SSC/ 10th Standard or equivalent with Science subjects, with minimum 55% marks and 2 years full time experience as an apprentice trainee from a recognized Institution in Welder trade.
Or
SSC/ 10th Standard or equivalent with Science subjects, with minimum 55% marks and 3 yearsof work experience in Welder trade in a Ministry/ Department/ Organization/ Public sector undertaking/ Autonomous Body under Government of India/ State/ UT.
Selection procedure :-
The candidates as recommended by the Screening Committee will be invited for Trade Test. Those who qualify
in the Trade Test will be invited for a competitive written examination. The final merit list will be prepared on the
basis of the performance of the candidates in the competitive written examination.
